Enthusiasm

Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, “Nothing great is
ever achieved without enthusiasm.”

Do you have it?  Do you have it for your life?  Do you have
it for your business?

Without it, you certainly won’t get very far in your effort to
achieve any measurable amount of success.

For obvious reasons, you will find it very difficult to
have a successful business without enthusiasm.
No matter what you think about selling, you are always
ultimately selling yourself, and you are definitely
selling your business.

Do you think for a moment you will be able to build
a successful business without a vast amount of enthusiasm
for your product or service?  Of course not.  We all know that!

Let’s take a look at your life now.  You might be oozing
with enthusiasm for your business, but if you want a truly
successful life you have to examine all areas.  What about
your health, your relationships, your spiritual connection, or
the clarity of your mind?

Have you injected your enthusiasm into those areas as well?

This year is about achievement in every area of your life!  Try this:
before laying your head down to sleep tonight,  I want you to
take a quick inventory of the areas of your life.

Spiritual
Financial
Relational
Physical
Mental

How would you rate your enthusiasm in each area?  Which
one needs the most attention?  Then make a commitment
to actively concentrate on that area for the next 7 days.

Ask youself what you could you do to get enthusiastic about
that area of your life.  7 days…that’s it!  Each night before you
go to bed, think about that area and what you will do the next
day to improve.

After those 7 days, inventory your life again.  Is there
another area you would like to improve your enthusiasm?  Simply
repeat the process for that area.

Do you think you might find a bit more enthusiasm for your
life as a whole?  I know you will!

Altering your life and ultimately finding the success you desire
isn’t about making broad, sweeping changes.  It is about taking
small, calculated steps each day in the direction of growth.

Success has no choice but to follow.
