Biography

Margie Warrell is a master certified coach who and best selling author of three books – ‘Stop Playing Safe’, ‘Brave’ and ‘Find Your Courage.’

Drawing on her diverse background in business, psychology and coaching, Warrell has adapted her ‘courage-building’ programmes for a range of different audiences. She has worked with several major organisations and enterprises including NASA, Ernst & Young, British Telecom, AOL and the United Nations Foundation. She has also been a guest lecturer to MBS students at Columbia University in New York, Georgetown McDonough School of Business in Washington D.C. and at SMU in Dallas, Texas.

In addition to her books, Warrell has written extensively for Forbes and her expertise has been shared in The Wall Street Journal, Psychology Today, Fast Company, Inc Magazine, The Huffington Post, and Women’s Health.

A mother of four, she is a passionate about empowering women to make a bigger impact on the world. To help realise this important goal, Warrell founded Global Courage in 2010 to equip emerging women leaders with the skills and confidence needed to affect change on a global scale.

Warrell also actively supports numerous charities and not-for-profit organisations. She is the Ambassador for Women in Global Business and mentors women in India through the UN Foundation’s global women’s initiative.
